SAN DIEGO, CALIF.--The Lobos had a long hard journey leading into the Mountain West Tournament. The team went 1-5 in conference play with their one win against Colorado State 4-3. This win is what put the team at the number six seed having to face the host school San Diego State in the Quarterfinals falling 4-0.

At number three doubles, Nikolina Grbac and Alyssa Caffey took on Cioffi/Antonana Iriarte falling with a score of 8-0.

At number two doubles, the duo of Kristin Eggleston and Michaela Oldani managed to get one game before being defeated by Wais/Aguilar with a score of 8-1.

It was no different for singles as the momentum kept on rolling in favor of San Diego State.

At the number three spot, Alyssa Caffey fell to Laura Antonana Iriarte with a score of 6-1, 6-1.

At number four singles, Michaela Oldani fell to Alicia Aguilar with a score of 6-1, 6-2.

At the number six position, Nikolina Grbac was defeated by Kristin Buth with a score of 6-1, 6-1.

Despite the loss of today, Michaela Bezdickova has been named to the 2011-12 Women's Tennis All-Mountain West Team in singles. This is the second time that she has been named to the team. The doubles team of Michaela Bezdickova and Maria Sablina has been named to the 2011-12 Women's Tennis All-Mountain West Team for doubles. This is the first time that the doubles team has been named to the team.
