ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's soccer team took a day off from their busy fall camp schedule to unwind and hit the driving range at the UNM Championship Golf Course. Head coach Kit Vela and her team got to blow off a little steam and hit the links this morning.
"We just wanted to do something different for the team," said Vela. "It was a great way for the team to bond and let off some steam. We appreciate head coach Jill Trujillo and her players for taking the time and having patience with us. Coach Trujillo is always good at talking to the girls and is a great part of the Lobo family."
The Lobos will host the Cherry-Silver Intrasquad on Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. at the UNM Soccer Complex. For more information visit www.GoLobos.com.
