ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The seventh annual Grass Bash will be held on south Johnson Field on the campus of the University of New Mexico, April 20-21. The event is put on by the Lobo volleyball program and perennially draws several competitors over the weekend.
This year, 15 divisions will compete for thousands of dollars in prizes with all money garnered by the event going toward the UNM Scholarship Fund and UNM Children's Hospital.
Action begins on Saturday, April 20 with Women's/Men's Open, Women's/Men's A Division and Women's/Men's Over 40 and Girls 18&U, 16&U, 14&U and 12&U. Co-ed play will happen on Sunday, April 21 with division of Doubles Open, Doubles A and B, Fours Open and Fours A.
Players must turn in registration form and money to be considered registered and to qualify for early registration.
Early registration (April 17) is encouraged and rewarded with lower fees of $25 per player for adults and $20 per player for students. Registration after April 17 is a $5 additional charge.
