LAS VEGAS --- UNLV scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to down UNM softball, 7-5, Sunday in game one of a doubleheader held at Eller Media Stadium. The Lobos had six hits in the game including two by sophomore Analise Rubalcava. UNM is 18-18 overall and 7-4 in the Mountain West Conference. UNLV goes to 33-24 on the year and 8-5 in league play.

UNLV led off the fourth inning with four consecutive singles resulting in two runs.

The Lobos answered with two more runs in the fifth on a two-run homer by sophomore Analise Rubalcava. Rubalcava clubbed her sixth round tripper of the year and gave UNM a 5-2 lead heading

The Rebels hit two home runs in the top of the seventh to rally for the win. Jaci Hull blasted a two-run homer to right field and Kendall Fearn had a three-run shot to center field.
