- Hi Lobonation,

Over the past week we have completed two tough exhibition games. The first game we took on a Vanguard team that is a highly respected NAIA team. They gave us a good test, especially for the freshmen about what college basketball is all about. The freshmen were all a little nervous before the game, but they all did not do a bad job for their first game as a Lobo. The second game we took on UC-Colorado Springs. They did not have much height but they gave us a good fight. Overall the exhibitions were a good warm-up for what this season will bring us. Maybe we did not play as well as we wanted to, but this weekend we have three extremely important games in Tempe, Arizona. On Friday we will play Florida Atlantic, Sunday Arizona State, and Monday Nebraska (Katie tells me if we lose this game she will beat me up, so we better not lose for my sake:). All of these teams have had experience in the NCAA tournament and are very good ball clubs. We need to make sure that we take this weekend one game at a time and play up to our potential. I hope to see a lot of cherry and silver in the stands this weekend....until next time.

GO LOBOS!!!!
