He started the week going 4-for-8 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in UNM's two-game series split with New Mexico State. In the first game of a four-game tilt vs. Vermont, Cavazos-Galvez went 4-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI and three runs scored in a 12-3 Lobo win. In the first game of Saturday's doubleheader vs. the Catamounts, he went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored, and followed with another 4-for-4 outing from the plate in game two, scoring three more runs as the Lobos won each contest by a 9-4 margin. In the final game of the series, Cavazos-Galvez went 1-for-5 with an RBI single and two runs scored in an 8-3 win. Cavazos-Galvez is the second Lobo to receive the honor this season.
