ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's basketball team plays host to the #25 Utah Utes tonight in a key Mountain West Conference showdown. The Lobos are 14-7 on the season and 6-2 in the MWC, while the Utes are 19-4 overall and 9-0 in the conference. New Mexico is on a current two game winning streak and Utah is riding a nine game winning streak coming into tonight. Tip-off is set for 7:05 PM, at The Pit.

Rockin' Ray and the Skyy Dogs to Perform at Halftime: Rockin' Ray and the Amazing Skyy Dogs are America's most exciting Canine Entertainers. They perform in more cities and at more events annually than any other canine act in the country. Rockin' Ray has been performing in the entertainment business with his amazing canines for 13 years and counting. They have worked with numerous professionals for countless hours to perfect their show for any type of event.

For your halftime entertainment, Rockin' Ray and the Skyy Dogs will be performing during halftime of the Lobo Women's Basketball game on Thursday, February 19th! This is a show you will not want to miss!

The Skyy Dogs are famous for their incredible disc catching ability, graceful aerobatic skill, and jumping rope. Rockin' Ray's talented dogs are also trained to play Bat-Boy (at baseball games), and play goalie (at hockey and soccer games). These dogs can even balance items on their heads, retrieve your favorite beverage from the fridge, plus do many other amazing tricks.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico against the Utes of the University of Utah in a Mountain West Conference match-up. Tonight's game will also be televised on CSTV (College Sports Television Network), channel 610 on Direct TV.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: The Lobos enter tonight's game on a two game winning streak with wins at Wyoming and at home against Air Force. UNM is currently 14-7 on the season and 6-2 in the MWC with losses to Colorado State, Utah, No. 3 Texas, Villanova, South Carolina, San Francisco and Arizona and wins over Southern Cal, Cal State Fullerton, Youngstown State, Texas Southern, Tennessee State, New Mexico State, New Mexico Highlands, Air Force, BYU, San Diego State and UNLV. The Lobos are led in scoring and rebounding by junior forward Lindsey Arndt with 10.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg. In conference play UNM is led by senior Melissa Forest at 10.7 ppg and junior Mandi Moore at 10.1ppg. Moore also leads the Lobos in assists on the season at 3.9 apg.

SCOUTING THE UTES: The Utes bring a nine game winning streak into the Pit tonight. Utah is currently 19-4 on the season and a perfect 9-0 in the Mountain West Conference. The Utes have recorded wins over Southeast Missouri State, Western Kentucky, Fresno State, St. Mary's, Gonzaga, Washington State, Weber State, Northern Arizona, San Francisco, Idaho State, Wyoming, Colorado State, New Mexico, Air Force, UNLV, San Diego State and BYU, with their only four losses coming on the road at UC Santa Barbara, Oklahoma, Oregon State and Montana. Utah is led in scoring and rebounding by MWC preseason player of the year selection Kim Smith at 16.0 ppg and 7.4 rpg. Joining smith in double figures and leading the Utes in assists is Shona Thorburn at 11.6 ppg and 3.7 apg.

THE COACHES: UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan in his ninth season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 182-88 at UNM. The Utes are under the direction of Elaine Elliott, who is in 21st year at Utah. Elliott is 432-175 as the head coach at Utah.
