ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico women's soccer fell to No. 13 Utah, 3-0, Sunday afternoon at the UNM Soccer Complex. The Utes scored three second half goals to win their seventh consecutive match. The Lobos move to 6-6-3 on the year and 0-2-2 in Mountain West Conference action. Utah goes to 11-4-0 overall and 4-0-0 in league play.
UNM controlled the shot advantage for most of the match and finished the contest with seven shots. The Lobos had five shots on goals and two corner kicks. Seniors Bridgette Sanchez and Eryn Paetz both had two shots in the match.
Katy Reineke scored the game-winner for the Utes in the 68th minute on a free kick. Kelly Isleib scored her first goal of the year on an assist from Hailey Marsh in the 80th minute on a shot from 30 yards out. The shot was out of the reach of UNM goalkeeper Shannon Adragna and put the Utes ahead, 2-0.
The final goal for Utah came in the 85th minute by Amanda Feigt. Feigt won a foot race to the ball and scored on a shot from left to right in front of the net. Melissa Crespo was credited with the assist on Feigt's goal.
