MWC Names 16 Women To All-Academic Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference named 16 New Mexico women's soccer players to the All-Academic team. The Lobos placed more women on the team than any other school with UNLV having 14, Utah with 11, Air Force placing 10, nine named from BYU and Wyoming and San Diego State with five.

The Lobos, who had a team GPA of 3.26 for the fall semester, had 10 women with GPAs over 3.5. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor.
