The Lobos have an overall record of 16-7 this spring season. The Lobos are coming off a 5-2 loss to Boise State at home. UNM’s four seniors also played their last match at home on that day. The Lobos are 2-2 in conference and are 3-4 when playing away. Leading the Lobos in singles match play is Senior Carl Ho with an 18-4 record along with a 12 win streak. Following right behind him is Junior Conor Berg with an 18-3 record and a 3 win streak. The duo of Conor Berg and Ben Dunbar are 14-5 in dual play and are on a 5 win streak. Carl Ho and James Hignett are also right up there alongside with a 15-5 record in dual matches.
TCU is now 8-13 coming to the end of the regular season. The Horned Frogs are coming off a 5-0 win against Southern Methodist University. The team is 5-7 when playing at home are 2-2 in conference play. Leading the team in singles is Nick Chappell with a 12-6 record in dual play. Right behind him is Facundo Lugones with an 11-8 record in singles. The leading doubles team to watch out for is Daniel Sanchez/ Max Stevens who are 9-4 in dual play. A record to keep in mind is that TCU is only 2-12 in dual matches when playing against a nationally ranked team.
The Lobos will play in the Mountain West Tournament starting on April 27, 2012 and will end on April 29, 2012 in San Diego, California.
