Oregon State won the team title and OSU senior James Allenby took home medalist honors at the weather-shortened Husky Invitational at Gold Mountain Golf Complex, Tuesday. Tournament scores were based on the first 36-holes played on Monday as rain and wind on Tuesday forced the cancellation of the final 18 holes.

Play started at the regularly scheduled starting tee time of 7:30 a.m. but was called a couple hours later. The second round on Monday was suspended due to darkness but the two threesomes that weren't able finish their rounds played their final hole Tuesday morning.

The Lobos finished in 12th place out of 13 teams with a two-round total of 33-over 609 (305-304). Sophomore Brandon Putnam carded a hole-in-one on the 216-yard par-3 eighth hole in the second round. Putnam played 36 holes today at 3-over par (74-73=147) and tied for 12th place in the individual race to lead UNM.
