  • UNM hit both of its field goal attempts Saturday...Junior K James Aho connected from 46 and 25 yards out.
  • Offensive Tackle Darryl Johnson became the 35th different Lobo to start this season...UNM has started 18 different players on offense and 17 different players on defense.
  • San Diego State now leads the all-time series with UNM, (21-15).
  • Two Lobos made their first collegiate appearances Saturday...true freshman kicker Justus Adams had a kickoff for 55 yards...redshirt freshman Demarcus Rogers rotated in a wide receiver.

    Junior K James Aho
    • Hit two field goals Saturday including a season-long 46 yarder in the first quarter...the field goals moved him into sole possession of fourth place on the all-time UNM list with 35 field goals...he is now 4-5 on the year and 35-50 for his career.

    Junior CB Anthony Hooks

    • Had his first career interception against the Aztecs...it was the third for UNM this season...he also had his second forced fumble of the year.

    Sophomore QB B.R. Holbrook

    • Returned to action for the first time since the Texas Tech game on Sept. 11...is 0-3 all-time as a starting quarterback...finished the game with 124 yards on 11 of 27 passing...his two TDs went to TE Lucas Reed.

    • Had a career day against the Aztecs with a career-high 95 yards receiving, two touchdowns and five catches...had his second and third touchdowns of the season Saturday.

    Redshirt Freshman OT Darryl Johnson

    • Made his first career start, replacing an injured Maurice Mears at right tackle.

    Redshirt Freshman WR Demarcus Rogers and true freshman K Justus Adams

    • Made their first collegiate appearance Saturday vs. SDSU.
