UNM HEAD COACH Ritchie McKay:
"I thought they were definitely the better team in the second half. My hat's off to their coaching staff and the way they executed. We can learn from the way they executed in our future games. They really camped it in on Dave (Chiotti) on the help side and we just stood instead of being more aggressive and driving the ball. It's something we still have to learn. The adjustment was they made shots in the second half. They got a little bolder and Frandsen really got going and fired a couple that really, really hurt us. We definitely weren't used to it. This was a game about a lack of execution. We had seven days to prepare. This team beat Gonzaga last year at Gonzaga, so it's not like they're a bad team. They have experienced guards. Those guys, when we got up 10 there was no panic on their faces, they just kept running their stuff."
