ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico women's basketball team will begin their final conference road trip of the season at Las Vegas with a Mountain West Conference showdown against UNLV. The Lobos bring a four game winning streak and a record of 16-7, 8-2 to Thursday nights game while UNLV brings an impressive 18-5 overall record and 7-3 conference record into the matchup. Tip-off is set for Thursday at 7:30 PM (8:30 PM MST) at Cox Pavilion.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico against the Lady Rebels of UNLV in a Mountain West Conference match-up.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: The Lobos enter tonight's game on a four game winning streak with wins at Wyoming and at home against Air Force, Utah and BYU. UNM is currently 16-7 on the season and 8-2 in the MWC with losses to Colorado State, Utah, No. 3 Texas, Villanova, South Carolina, San Francisco and Arizona and wins over Southern Cal, Cal State Fullerton, Youngstown State, Texas Southern, Tennessee State, New Mexico State, New Mexico Highlands, Air Force, BYU, San Diego State and UNLV. The Lobos are led in scoring and rebounding by junior forward Lindsey Arndt with 10.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg. Arndt also leads the Lobos in scoring and rebounding in confernce at 10.6 ppg and 6.7 rpg.

SCOUTING THE LADY REBELS: UNLV is coming off their fifth loss of the season at Colorado State. The Lady Rebels are 18-5 on the season and 7-3 in the Mountain West Conference. UNLV on the season has wins over Centenary, San Diego, Richmond, Nevada, Cal State Fullerton, Texas San Antonio, South Florida, Mississippi State, Cal Poly, St. Mary's, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, Colorado State, Wyoming, Air Force and BYU, with losses to UCLA, Loyola Marymount, New Mexico and Utah. The Lady Rebels are led in scoring by RanDee Henry at 19.3 ppg. Joining Henry in double-figures is Sheena Moore at 15.5 ppg and Sherry McCracklin at 14.5 ppg. McCracklin keads UNLV in rebounding at 10.3 rpg and Infini Robinson leads them in assists at 2.9 apg.

THE COACHES: UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan in his ninth season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 184-88 at UNM. The Lady Rebels are under the direction of Regina Miller, who is in her sixth year at UNLV and 12th season overall. Miller is 111-58 at UNLV and 171-158 overall.
