Gers And Hodzic Compete In Doubles At Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Senior Jasmin Hodzic and sophomore Henry Gers competed in the first day of doubles at the 2003 Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships prequalification round in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Gers and Hodzic downed Middle Tennessee's Rishan Kurpuppr and Andreas Siljestrem 8-6, in the round of 128. The duo fell in the next round, 8-5, to Matt Laramore and Brad Rhodes of Ball State.

The Lobos will continue participation in the Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships main draw Oct. 9-12. Senior Divan Coetzee will compete in singles action while juniors Ryan Stotland and David Kowalski will play in doubles.

New Mexico also hosts the Balloon Fiesta tournament Friday, Oct. 10 - Sunday, Oct. 12. Competition will start at 8 a.m.
