New Mexico Head Coach Don Flanagan
"They (North Dakota State) were a tough team. They were very physical, they'll drive at you and they have a nice high-low game. We wanted to take away their high-low game and for the most part we did that. We wanted to make sure we got back in transition and we didn't do that in the first half, but we did do that in the second half. They have players that are deceptive. They don't look as fast as they are, but they're so tall that they run floor very well. They know one another and they're very confident in their game. They played an excellent game against us. I thought we did a great job in the second half holding them to 36 percent shooting. I thought we ran our offense pretty well."
