* New Mexico improves to 17-4 overall and 3-2 in the Mountain West with a 71-54 win over TCU (12-8, 2-3 MW)

* The Lobos' next game is Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Air Force...tipoff is 8 p.m. Mountain on The Mtn.

* UNM is 16-5 all-time against TCU and has won 8 in a row...the Lobos are 10-0 vs. the Horned Frogs in Albuquerque

* Leading 33-28 with 19:39 left in the 2nd half, the Lobos went on a 12-0 run over the next 4:11 for a 45-28 advantage...Tony Snell had a pair of 3-pointers during the burst
