ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico Lobo baseball team suffered a 26-4 loss to No. 4 TCU tonight at Isotopes Park. The Lobos gave up a season-high 35 hits and nine home runs. The Lobos fall to 31-17 on the season and 13-7 in Mountain West Conference Play. The Horned Frogs improve to 35-10 and 16-4.

The Horned Frogs jumped all over the Lobos early and put up 16 runs in the first three innings. TCU added three in the fifth, one in the sixth and seventh and five in the ninth.

The Lobos scored a run in the first, third, fourth and seventh innings.

Junior Ryan Honeycutt led the Lobos at the plate and went 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Senior Daniel Gonzalez went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Junior Kenny Toves (4-2) picked up the loss giving up five runs on four hits.

The Lobos host Delaware State this Friday thru Sunday, May 14-16 at Lobo Field. Saturday, May 15 will be Senior Day. The Lobos will honor nine outstanding seniors for their hard work and dedication. For more information, visit www.GoLobos.com.
