Parkes Drops Third Round Match

TULSA, Okla. -- Chris Parkes lost his third round match of the pre-qualifying draw at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships in singles. He retired in the second set (6-3, retired) against ninth ranked, Morgan Richard from Middle Tennessee State University.

Chris Parkes will join his brother Johnny in doubles on Tuesday (Oct. 2) against Bryan Koniecko and Steven Moneke from Ohio State University. Also playing doubles is Max Jones and Kamil Pajkowski which will match-up in the first round against Sascha Heinemann and Andreas Weber from the University of Hawaii on Tuesday afternoon.

Graeme Kassautzki, Jones, and Johnny Parkes all get started with their singles matches Monday (Oct. 1) in the qualifying draw. Jones plays Omar Abramovich from the College of Charleston in the first round. Kassautzki meets up with Rudolf Siwy from Fresno State while Johnny Parkes plays against Jordan Rux from Baylor University in the first round as well.
