  • New Mexico led 27-20 in the first half after a Dionne Marsh 3-pointer...Baylor later went on a 13-0 run, and, eventually a 24-6 streak, to give them a 44-33 advantage...the Lobos trailed 44-38 at the half...UNM finished the season with a 2-9 record when trailing at halftime

  • Baylor took a 58-46 lead before UNM stormed back to make it 65-60 following a 3-pointer by Abbie Letz...the Lobos were also down 71-64 and had the ball, but turned it over...Baylor closed the game by outscoring New Mexico 22-7

  • Baylor made 9 of 18 3-pointers tonight...the Bears came into the game shooting 32% from 3 on the season and just 18% (9-50) in their past 4 games

  • New Mexico shot 52% (13-25) from the floor in the first half, but just 33% (9-27) in the 2nd, including 1 of 8 to start the period...thanks to a 40-29 rebounding edge, Baylor attempted 19 more shots than UNM, hitting 33 of 71, or 47%

  • Sophomore Dionne Marsh had 25 points tonight, including the 5th 3-pointer of her career...only Jordan Adams has scored more for UNM in an NCAA Tournament game...Adams had 27 in an overtime win over Miami (Fla.) in 2003

  • Marsh scored 509 points this season, tying Jordan Adams (2000-01) for the 3rd-highest total by a Lobo...Marsh has 911 points after 63 games, No. 19 all-time at UNM

  • Junior Julie Briody came off the bench to score 19 points on 4-6 FGs, 3-4 3s and 8-8 FTs...her 8 FTs made and 100% accuracy is a Lobo record in an NCAA Tournament game

  • Briody finished the year by making 77 of 86 FTs, or 89.5%...that's the 2nd-best single-season accuracy in school history

  • The Lobos' season FT% of 74.7% (493-660) is a team record

  • Katie Montgomery was 1 of 4 from 3-point to finish the season 75 of 157, or 47.8%...it's the best single-season 3-point percentage in school history...the 75 3s rank No. 2 on the UNM single-season list...Abby Garchek made 82 in 1997-98

  • Montgomery has shot 44.7% from 3-point in her career (148-331)...that's easily the best accuracy in the Lobo record book

  • Seniors Jana Francis, Abbie Letz and Judy Vogt complete their Lobo careers with a 95-32 record, 3 MWC Tournament titles and 4 straight trips to the NCAA Tournament

  • Letz finished 14th all-time at New Mexico with 592 rebounds...her 232 boards in 2005-06 ranks No. 7 on the single-season list
