ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- With the start of basketball practice right around the corner that means the Lobo Ticket Office is geared up and ready to sell 2009-10 Lobo Basketball Season Tickets. Men's basketball tickets go on sale, Thursday, Oct. 1, with the women's first day of sale set for Friday, Oct. 2.
Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.GoLobos.com beginning at 8 a.m. each day or in-person at the Lobo Ticket Office from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. During renovations of The Pit, the UNM Ticket Office is located on the first floor in the Student Support and Services Center at the northwest corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and University Blvd. Schedules for both teams can be viewed (2009-10 Men's and 2009-10 Women's) and downloaded on-line.
Men's Basketball Season Tickets
The 2009 Mountain West Conference championship men's basketball team, under the direction of third-year head coach Steve Alford, will host 19 games in The Pit, including match-ups with California, New Mexico State, Creighton, Texas Tech, Dayton and an always-challenging MWC schedule. Season ticket packages begin at $230.00 for adults and $109.00 for youth (ages 2-18).
Women's Basketball Season Tickets
Head coach Don Flanagan is in his 15th season leading the UNM women's basketball program. The Lobos will host 18 games in The Pit in 2009-10, including the Preseason WNIT, Texas A&M, New Mexico State, BYU, Utah and the rest of the Mountain West Conference. Season ticket packages begin at $94.00 for adults and $45.00 for youth (ages 2-18).
Lobo Howl - Friday, Oct. 16 - Doors Open at 5:30 p.m. - Santa Ana Star Center
Mark your calendar for Lobo Howl on Friday, Oct. 16 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho. This will be the first opportunity fans will have to see the 2009-10 Lobo basketball teams in action, get autographs from your favorite Lobos and watch the shooting contests and the always popular slam dunk exhibition. The Pit Renovations
Lobo fans will see a variety of changes at The Pit while renovations continue during the 2009-10 season. An intimate capacity of 15,102 will continue to make The Pit one of the toughest places to play in the nation. Fans can check out the progress on The Pit at www.GoLobos.com.
