  • New Mexico snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 11-2 at home this season...both losses at The Pit have come against No. 12 Oklahoma...UNM has won six straight at home overall, but 32 in a row at The Pit against Mountain West Conference foes...the last loss was to UNLV on Jan. 6, 2002.

  • The Lobos have won 7 of their last 8 against the Rams and notched their biggest margin of victory in the series (34 points) since an 85-50 home win on Feb. 4, 1978...Colorado State still leads the overall series 27-25, though UNM has a 15-10 advantage in Albuquerque.

  • New Mexico finished with a season-high .509 FG percentage on 28-55 shooting...it's the Lobos first game over 50% since March 9 of last year when the team hit 58.5% (31-53) against San Diego State in the first round of the MWC Tournament...UNM's previous best this season was a 48.6% effort against Marist on Nov. 25.

  • UNM held a 41-28 (+13) advantage in rebounding and have now outrebounded 15 of their 23 opponents this season.

  • After turning the ball over 17 times at BYU, the Lobos have committed just 8 in their last two games at Utah and tonight vs. Colorado State...CSU had 16 turnovers...the Lobos have forced their opponent into double digit miscues in every game this year.

  • Sophomore forward Dionne Marsh led all scorers with 21 points...it was her 8th game over 20 points this year...she is averaging 21.7 points over her past 3 games...senior guard Judy Vogt matched her UNM career-high with 11 points off the bench...Vogt also had 11 against Morgan State last year...junior Julie Briody had 13 points off the bench, her highest output since scoring 16 against North Dakota State on Dec. 10...sophomore Brandi Kimble's 13 points were her highest in 9 games since scoring 16 vs. Utah on Jan. 5...all 12 UNM players in uniform got into the game and scored.
