Women's Soccer to Host UNLV Saturday

The University of New Mexico women's soccer team is set to host UNLV on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the UNM Soccer complex. The Lobos are 6-4-3 on the season and are 0-0-1 in Mountain West games.

Lobo forward Jennifer Williams leads the MW with 13 points on the season, tallying six goals and one assist in 13 games. Fellow senior Jael Fanning has notched a league-high seven assists this season. In the goal, junior Kelli Cornell has notched a Conference-high six shutouts in 2011.

New Mexico is currently in a four game unbeaten streak after defeating UC Riverside, Oklahoma, New Mexico State and tying San Diego State.

The Lobos lead the series with UNLV 8-7-1 and have won four of the last five match-ups between the two squads. New Mexico's last meeting with the Rebels came in the 2010 MW Tournament semifinals, where the Lobos defeated UNLV 2-1 in double overtime.
