ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Saturday night is Pack the Pit as the New Mexico women's basketball team plays host to the UNLV Lady Rebels. The Lobos enter the game 11-6 and 3-1 in the MWC, while UNLV is 15-2 and 4-0 in the conference. Ticket availability is limited for the game as over 17,300 tickets have been sold. Tickets are available for four dollars by calling 925-5858. Come out and be a part of the largest crowd to see a women's basketball game this season.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico against the Lady Rebels of UNLV in a Mountain West Conference game.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: The Lobos enter tonight's game after a tough loss at Utah on Sunday. UNM is currently 10-6 on the season and 2-1 in the MWC with losses to No. 3 Texas, Villanova, South Carolina, San Francisco and Arizona and wins over Southern Cal, Cal State Fullerton, Youngstown State, Texas Southern, Tennessee State, New Mexico State, New Mexico Highlands, Air Force and BYU. The Lobos are led in scoring and rebounding by junior forward Lindsey Arndt with 9.4 ppg and 7.3 rpg. Following Arndt is junior Mandi Moore and senior Melissa Forest with 8.5 and 8.3 ppg, respectively. Leading UNM in assists is Moore with 3.4 apg.

SCOUTING THE LADY REBELS: UNLV enters tonight's game on a 10 game winning streak with a perfect 4-0 record in Mountain West Conference play. The Lady Rebels are currently 15-2 with wins over Centenary, San Diego, Richmond, Cal State Fullerton, Nevada, Texas-San Antonio, Mississippi State, South Florida, Cal Poly, St. Mary's, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, Colorado State, Wyoming and Air Force, with losses to UCLA and Loyola Marymount. UNLV is led in scoring by RanDee Henry with 19.7 ppg. Joining Henry in double figures is Sherry McCracklin and Sheena Moore at 14.5 and 14.4 ppg, respectively. McCracklin also leads the Lady Rebels in rebounding at 11.3 rpg and InFini Robinson leads them in assists at 3.2 apg.

THE COACHES: UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan in his ninth season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 179-87 at UNM. The Lady Rebels are under the direction of Regina Miller, who is in her fifth year at UNLV and 11th season overall. Miller has a record of 108-30 at UNLV and 168-155 in her career.

THE SERIES: New Mexico and UNLV will meet for the 23rd time tonight. The Lady Rebels own a 16-6 advantage over the Lobos. Under Coach Flanagan the Lobos are 4-7 against UNLV and split the two games last season.
