  • New Mexico (13-2) wins its 11th straight game, 98-61 over Houston Baptist (5-9)...the Lobos have their longest winning streak since 15 in a row from Jan. 13-March 11, 2010
  • It's the 11th time in program history - and 3rd time under 5th-year head coach Steve Alford - that UNM has won at least 11 consecutive games
  • UNM set season-highs for points (98) and FG pct. (63.8%, 37-58)...the FG accuracy is the best for a Steve Alford-coached Lobo team, and is UNM's highest since making 69.2% (27-39) at Air Force on Jan. 15, 2005
  • UNM enjoyed its best FG shooting game in The Pit since Dec. 1, 2004, when it made 64.3% (36-56) in a 99-80 victory over New Mexico State
  • The Lobos shot 73.3% (22-30) in the 1st half tonight, its best shooting half of the season
  • New Mexico led 53-29 at halftime, tying for the most 1st half points under head coach Steve Alford...UNM led Montana State 53-16 on Dec. 20, 2011
  • After recording a season-low 7 assists in last Saturday's win against Saint Louis, tonight's 7th assist came on UNM's 12th basket with 11:13 left in the 1st half
  • UNM's 1st turnover came at the 6:14 mark of the 1st half, a traveling call on Demetrius Walker...the Lobos finished with 10 turnovers
  • When scoring 80 or more points under head coach Steve Alford, the Lobos have won 35 straight games and are 47-1 overall...the only loss was 82-80 in overtime to Utah in the 2008 Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas
