Lobos and BYU to Resume at 11 a.m. on Saturday

PROVO, Utah --- Friday night's Mountain West Conference baseball game between New Mexico and BYU as been placed in a weather delay and will resume at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25. BYU has an 11-9 lead after seven innings of action in the second game of the three-game series. Game three of the series will begin 30 minutes after the completion of game two.

BYU took a 7-3 lead in the bottom of the second inning, but the Lobos have battled back over five innings to close the gap to 11-9.

Kevin Atkinson, Ryan Honeycutt, Max Willett, Dane Hamilton and Rafael Neda have two hits each for the Lobos through seven innings. Cole White, the fifth Lobo pitcher of the game, had just finished 1.2 innings when the game was suspended at 10:03 p.m.
