Taufalele talks about the progress of the 'Hitmen'

Standing 6'2" and weighing in at 310 pounds, imposing senior Joshua Taufalele manned the right guard spot last season for the Lobos' offensive line. Known for his powerful run blocking, Taufalele started all 12 games and notched 119 knockdown blocks, including an impressive 24 in one game at New Mexico State last season. Now a veteran member of UNM's fabled `Hitmen', Taufalele figures to be one of the main cogs in New Mexico's offensive line this fall.

But, the bruising Taufalele is quick to point out that there are no starting spots secured along the line thus far this spring.
