UNM Divers Compete in Air Force Invitational

The University of New Mexico women's diving team competed in the Air Force Invitational over the weekend in Colorado Springs, Colo. Senior diver Carrie Quinn opened competition on Friday with a sixth-place finish on the 1-meter dive, with a score of 237.45. In the same event, Mary Beth Geeze finished eighth with a score of 229.35, as well as a 14th-place finish from Alexandra Lusk (201.60).

Saturday's competition began with the 3-meter dive, where Quinn finished fourth with a mark of 246.50. Lusk also competed in the event finishing 17th (196.95). On the platform dive Lusk finished 28th (137.35) and Quinn finished 29th (134.10)

The next event for the full team is the 2008 Mountain West Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, Feb. 27-March 1, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
