LAS CRUCES, N.M. --- The University of New Mexico men's tennis team fell to No. 41 Texas Tech, 7-0, on Saturday. New Mexico's record evens at 5-5.

The Lobos' pair Graeme Kassautzki and Joe Wood beat Joe Hattrup and Lenior Ramos 8-6. The Red Raiders won the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches to go up 1-0.

In singles, Wood won his first set 6-1 against Michael Breler but Breler rebounded to win 1-6, 6-3, 6-2. Max Jones, ranked No. 39, won the second set to force but a 10-point tiebreaker but #49 Bojan Szumanski doubled Jones 10-5 to win the match 7-6, 2-6, (10-5). Texas Tech won all six singles for the7-0 sweep.

The Lobos have a quick turn-around when they host Sacramento State on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
