Utah defeated New Mexico 75-62, handing the Lobos their second straight loss ... the last time UNM lost two in a row was 2003, 52-69 to South Carolina in The Pit on Dec. 6 and 37-47 at San Francisco on Dec. 11

Utah ended a six-game losing streak to the Lobos with the win ... the Utes hold a 41-15 series lead including a 27-1 record in Salt Lake City

The Lobos were 0-5 from the floor while Utah was 3-3 on field goals and 7-7 on free throws in the final three minutes of the game

Senior Jana Francis converted a jumper with 3:04 left in the second to pull the Lobos within two at 62-20 ... Utah answered with a 13-2 run to end the game

New Mexico falls to 1-4 when allowing an opponent to score 70+ points while Utah improves to 5-0 when scoring 70 or more

New Mexico's bench was outscored 9-8 ... all 8 bench points for UNM came from senior Jana Francis

Utah senior Shona Thorburn, who averages 10.2 points per game, recorded 28, tying her career best in field goals made (10) which she against the Lobos on Jan. 22, 2005
