UNM HEAD COACH Rocky Long "I thought we had a good game plan going in, but you never can tell until the players execute it well. I thought the players executed it very well. We made some mistakes that gave them some plays, but we didn't make too many of them. I was disappointed they scored at the end because I thought we were going to keep them out of the endzone. That disappointed me and disappointed our defensive players because that's as good as we can play. That's a great offensive football team. They're in the tops in the nation in several categories, they score a lot of points everybody and that was a great effort by our defense. It was a great effort by our offense too, which helped our defense. It's real hard to score points if they don't have the ball.

(On DonTrell Moore's performance): " We didn't have as many big plays because Air Force does a real nice job of playing an umbrella-type defense. I thought the Air Force defense played very well, but I thought our offensive line was as good as they've been the last half of the season. DonTrell is pretty amazing. They can't tackle him, just like we couldn't tackle (CSU QB Bradlee ) Van Pelt last week. It's just really nice to have one on your side."

AIR FORCE HEAD COACH FISHER DEBERRY "I think (New Mexico) has an outstanding football team. They made the plays and they deserve to win the game. They were a better football team today than we were, but I still think that we played hard. I think (DonTrell) Moore is one of the better backs that we've played against. We had good leverage on him and good gap integrity, but he has the unique and uncanny ability to slither and slide and spin and turn out of your grasp. That gave them the opportunity to possess the ball. We never could get into a rhythm with our offense. They've got a great defensive team which allowed us to make the plays and beat us at our own game. We didn't make enough plays to be a good football team today."

UNM LINEBACKER Daniel Gawronski " Like we said, if everybody played assignment sound we could be successful. The D-line did a great job, did what they were supposed to do, the corners did a great job and the linebackers were just able to scrape and make a lot of plays. We had a good crowd out today, playing my last home game and we came out with a win. It feels great."

UNM RUNNING BACK DonTrell Moore (On setting the season rushing record): "It means a lot to me because of the seniors. I wanted to come out today and do everything in my power so that the seniors could beat Air Force in their last home game. I saw before the game that I needed 144 yards for the record and I knew that the offensive linemen saw that, and they wanted that just as badly as I did. When I got it, it was for them. I love those guys, I love the effort that they put forth and I'm just glad that I'm part of a great football team with a great family atmosphere."

"We have to come back on Sunday, watch some film and get [the win] out of our system and get ready for Wyoming. It was a great win, but great teams are able to win those big games and come right back and win another big game."

UNM QUICK TACKLE Justin Colburn " This was the only way we (seniors) expected to go out. Anything else would have been a tragedy. We all pulled together and played very well, it was a great win for us."

(On Moore's record): " It feels great. That's a direct reflection on how the offensive line has been playing this year. Congratulations to him, but their offensive line has done its job this year."
