Honors Continue to Pour in for TE Lucas Reed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico sophomore Lucas Reed has emerged as one of the top tight ends in the country. Reed has earned back-to-back All-American honors and the accolades continue to pour in. CollegeFootballNews.com named Reed First Team All-Mountain West Conference as well as honorable mention All-American. He also earned a selection to the CFN All-Sophomore Second Team for his outstanding season.

Reed had 33 catches in 2010 for 459 yards. His five touchdowns led all UNM receivers and his TD grab against Wyoming earned him a spot on the ESPN Top Plays of the Month for November. He averaged 13.9 yards per catch as a sophomore.

During his Lobo career, Reed has 50 catches for 671 yards and six touchdowns.

Reed was a 2010 All-Mountain West Conference First Team selection.
