THE COURSE: The Nelson Invitational will be played at the 6,778 yard, par-71 Stanford University Golf Course. This course will also host the NCAA West Regional on May 19-21.

RESULTS: The results can be found on the University of New Mexico website at www.golobos.com. or on the Stanford University website at www.gostanford.com.

NEW MEXICO IN THE POLLS: The Lobos are ranked third in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. UNM was ranked first in the index after opening the season with a victory at the Topy Cup. New Mexico trails only Auburn and Oklahoma State in the index. Individually the Lobos have two players ranked in the top 50. Junior Spencer Levin is the top ranked golfer and senior Miguel Griego is ranked 20th. Levin has finished first and second in the two tournaments this season and Griego has also finished in the top-15 in both tournaments this year.

LOBOS START QUICK: New Mexico has opened the season playing outstanding golf. The Lobos are currently 27-1 on the season with a first place finish at the Topy Cup and a second place finish at the Tucker. The quick start for UNM could be due to the outstanding play the Lobos had this summer.
