Five members of the University of New Mexico men's golf team are competing as individuals at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic is Scottsdale, Ariz. this week. Junior Parker Pemberton is currently tied for 21st at even-par in the 54-hole event at the Talking Stick Golf Club.

Pemberton shot 69-71 (140) in the first two rounds yesterday to lead the Lobos. Redshirt freshman Tom Carlson is 2-over (70-72=142) and tied for 37th at the 7,133-yard, par-70 layout. Senior Robb Bierbaum is tied for 60th place at 5-over (73-72=145). Junior Guillermo Chavez is tied for 79th at 7-over (74-73=147) while redshirt freshman Alex Zannes is 11-over (80-71=151).

The Lobos play the final round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at the Talking Stick Golf Club today. Final round results will be posted on GoLobos.com when available.
