  • UNM loses 70-69 in overtime to No. 25 BYU, ending the Lobos' 6-game winning streak...New Mexico is now 22-7 overall and 9-5 in the MWC...the Cougars are 22-6 overall, 11-2 in the league

  • New Mexico has tied a school record for the 2nd straight season and the 5th time overall by playing 4 overtime games in a season

  • BYU has won 6 straight games against New Mexico for the first time since taking the first 22 contests of the series between 1950-62...the Cougars have won more games against New Mexico in The Pit (17) than any other opponent

  • BYU outscored the Lobos 7-6 in overtime and all of the Cougars' points came from the FT line...they were 0 of 3 from the floor in OT
