  • Tonight's attendance was 29,179, the smallest of the season for New Mexico...UNM lost back-to-back home games for the first time since starting the 2000 season with two home losses to Boise State and Oregon State.

  • The Lobos had a 4-game win streak snapped while UNLV ended a 3-game losing streak.

  • UNM senior receiver Dwight Counter had six catches for a career-high 171 yards...5th career 100-yard receiving game, second straight at home...he also hauled in his ninth career TD reception of 25 yards or more, a season-long grab of 71 yards...he is now averaging 42.3 yards per TD catch over his career. ..Counter had 243 all-purpose yards, including his 72 yards on 5 punt returns.

  • Counter's 171 yards receiving are the most by a Lobo since Martinez Williams had 172 against Fresno State in 1998...Counter now has 116 career catches, tying Williams for 6th place all-time at UNM...he moved into 4th place with 1,959 career yards.

    New Mexico has 1,211 yards of total offense in its past two games, the highest total in consecutive games since it totaled 1,218 against San Diego State (527) and Utah (691) in 1989

  • With his 21-yard strike to senior receiver Adrian Boyd, sophomore running back DonTrell Moore became the fifth different player, and second non-quarterback, to throw a TD pass for New Mexico this season...Moore threw for a TD, caught a TD pass, and ran for a TD in tonight's game...Moore had 130 yards on 17 carries, his sixth straight 100 yd rushing game at University Stadium...he also had two lost fumbles on the night.

  • Moore moved into 11th place all-time at UNM with 1,989 career rushing yards...he tied a UNM season record with his 6th 100-yard rushing game of the season, equaling the mark held by Mike Williams (1976), Winslow Oliver (1992) and Lennox Gordon (1996)...Moore tied Stoney Case's season record with his 14th rushing TD of the year...Case had 14 in 1993...Moore has 15 TDs on the season, one shy of Terance Mathis' season record of 16 set in 1989.

  • Senior quarterback Casey Kelly set a career-high with 23 completions (38 attempts)...he also had a career-high in passing yards with 408, which is the 8th-highest total in UNM history...it is the most since Stoney Case threw for 413 yards vs. Colorado State in the 1994 season...Kelly also had three interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

  • Senior receiver Adrian Boyd set new career-highs in receptions (9) and receiving yards (103).

  • Senior DE Zach Rupp set a career-high in tackles with 15, and tackles-for-loss with 5.5... his 15 tackles matches the most by a Lobo in a single game this season.

  • UNM's six TO's (3 fumbles, 3 INT) are the most since giving away six (4 INT, 2 fumbles) to Utah in 1998.

  • In the 72-7 loss to UNLV on Nov. 1, 1980 here at University Stadium - the Lobos' worst home loss ever - New Mexico lost 8 turnovers (4 interceptions and 4 fumbles).
