Tonight's game features the Lobos of the University of New Mexico as they travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., to play the Falcons of the Air Force Academy in a Mountain West Conference game.

New Mexico is 18-7 this season and 8-4 in the MWC with victories over Florida Atlantic (74-44), No. 25 Texas (63-60), Georgia Southern (64-43), Siena (78-39), New Mexico State (81-47 and 65-45), at Arizona (76-63), Sam Houston State (77-41), UCLA (72-63), Northern Arizona (62-51), Colorado State twice (73-42, 77-66), Air Force (60-46), UNLV (77-56), San Diego State (76-46), Wyoming (50-43), Utah (73-65) and BYU (80-75 OT) and losses to No. 12/13 Arizona State (67-49), Nebraska (66-59), No. 7/8 Oklahoma (80-58), Wyoming (54-51), Utah (49-48), BYU (63-59) and TCU (67-43). UNM is led in scoring by senior Julie Briody at 15.4 ppg and rebounding by junior Dionne Marsh at 6.7 rpg. Leading the Lobos in assists is senior Katie Montgomery at 3.5 apg.

Air Force is 5-18 this year and 1-11 in the conference with wins over Northern Colorado (72-59), Butler (62-61), Yale (67-55), Weber State (78-73) and San Diego State (60-52) and losses to Wisconsin (91-58), Alaska Anchorage (62-60), San Diego (59-55), Western Michigan (71-54), Wisconsin Milwaukee (65-53), Illinois Chicago (58-57), Denver (59-46), Colorado State twice (65-56, 61-49), BYU twice (59-46, 70-40), TCU twice (87-61, 86-48), San Diego State (60-51), New Mexico (60-46), Utah (80-59), UNLV (63-55) and Wyoming (64-43). Leading the AFA in scoring and rebounding is Alecia Steele at 12.3 ppg and 8.0 rpg. Leading them in assists is Pamela Findlay at 2.3 apg.

UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan who enters his 12th season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 257-111 at UNM. The head coach of Air Force is Ardie McInelly who is in her sixth season as a Falcon and 11th overall. McInelly has a record of 39-124 at the AFA and 116-186 overall.

This will be the second of two meetings between New Mexico and Air Force, with the Lobos winning the first meeting 60-46 in The Pit. This will be the 22nd meeting overall with UNM holding an 8-1 advantage at Air Force and the Lobos have won the last 20 meetings overall.
