Albuquerque, N.M. - Tonight at the Armond H. Seidler Natatorium, the University of New Mexico women's swimming and diving team suffered their first loss of the season to Northern Arizona 139-104.
Junior Aimee Dunavant and sophomore Robyn Miller led the Lobos with one win apiece. Dunavant claimed first place in the 100-yard fly (59.74) and Miller won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:06.92. Other wins for the Lobos came in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a top time of 1:39.76.
UNM divers Becca Barras and Tracey Berghian dominated the one-meter and three-meter dives. Barras took first in the one-meter with a total score of 284.40 and Berghian followed in second place with a score of 274.20. Berghian then went on to place first in the three-meter with a 310.05.
Friday, the Lobos prepare to host the Lobo Invitational at 4:00 p.m. at the Armond H. Seidler Natatorium. The inviational will end on Saturday, Nov. 8. Admission is free.
