New Mexico vs. New Mexico State
New Mexico Head Coach Don Flanagan
We shot well in the first half, we ran our offense well, and we defended them (New Mexico State) well. I really enjoyed what we did in the first half. I thought we were very efficient in our offense, got easy opportunities, and ran our offense extremely well. In the second half, they displayed the kind of team they really are. They have a lot of talent, are difficult to defend, and have three or four players who can break you down by driving. They also have two or three players who can shoot the three. I'm happy with a win. They're a very fine team, and I have a lot of respect for them. We had all week to work against their offense. I thought we had a pretty good game plan and we did a pretty good job. Last time they got 85 on us, this time we probably held them to 20 points less.

on sweeping NMSU
It feels good, they're a big rival for us, so anytime we have a win over them it feels really good. A sweep this year in this series is a big step for us.
On shooting almost 80-percent in the first 16 minutes
We were just passing the ball well and moving. That's what can happen when we do that, and we've been doing that well the last couple games. It's all about finding the open person.
New Mexico junior guard Amanda Best
