Jones and Pajkowski Are Only One Win Away in Doubles

TULSA, OKLA. - The doubles team of Max Jones and Kamil Pajkowski won two matches on Tuesday (Oct. 2) to advance to the finals of the qualifying round at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships. In the first round they won the 8-2 match against Sascha Heinemann and Andreas Weber from the University of Hawaii. The second match they outlasted Jeff Dadamo and Johnny Hamui from Florida 9-8 (3). Jones and Pajkowski meet-up with Houston Barrick and Dominic Inglot from Virginia for a ticket to the main round on Wednesday.

The doubles team of Johnny and Chris Parkes lost their opening round match of doubles to Bryan Konieco and Steve Moneke from Ohio State (8-5). Jones also lost his singles match on Tuesday. Jones met-up with Alex Clayton from Stanford and lost in two sets (6-2, 6-1).

Also in singles, Johnny Parkes and Graeme Kassautzki entered into the consolidation draw after dropping their first round games. Both Lobos won their consolidation match on Tuesday. Parkes beat Maciek Sykut from Florida State (6-1, 6-0). Kassautzki defeated Ross Cunningham from Tulsa (6-4, 6-1).
