Saturday, November 13, 2010 - Falcon Stadium (46,692)

TEAM NOTES -
-       UNM has rushed for 100 yards in four of the last five games...The Lobos had 159 yards on 39 carries Saturday.

-       UNM has scored first in six of the last seven games.

-       The Lobos two turnovers snapped a two-game streak without a turnover...it was the first time since 2005 that UNM has had back-to-back games without a turnover.

-       Saturday was Senior Day at Falcon Stadium...the official attendance was 27,309...UNM will honor its 14 seniors on Nov. 27 against TCU...14 is the fewest seniors for New Mexico since 2002 (10).

-       The Lobos are 1-9 on the year and 1-5 in the Mountain West Conference-UNM travels to BYU next Saturday to face the Cougars for the final time as MWC foes.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES -
True Freshman QB Stump Godfrey
-       Made his second consecutive start ... finish the game with ... full name is Darian Godfrey.

Junior RB James Wright
-       Scored his second touchdown of the year Saturday ...had 34 yards on seven carries.

Sophomore WR Ty Kirk
-       Has had at least one reception in 19 of his 20 games played...finished with four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown against Air Force...it was his second TD of the season and fourth of his career.

Sophomore RB Kasey Carrier
-       Had a career-long run of 38 yards against Air Force.

Junior LB Carmen Messina
-       Recovered a fumble in the first quarter to setup a Lobo touchdown...it was his first of the season and third of his career.
-       Finished the game with 17 tackles and has (5) consecutive games with double-digit tackles.

True Freshman K Justus Adams
-       Handled all the kickoffs Saturday against Air Force ... made his third appearance of his career and first as the primary kickoff specialist ... had three kickoffs for 189 yards.
