"We shot 52 percent in the second half. I thought the first half (shooting), whether it was coming off BYU, we weren't sure how they were going to respond. I was happy with the way they responded. I just don't think they concentrated the way they should have (in the first half). We missed a lot of layups, missed a lot of free throws. We were 50 percent at the line in the first half and I thought we missed a lot of opportunities on the inside to make this about a 12-point game at the half and instead it was 2. So I thought at halftime it was time to change things up. Our halftime was pretty spirited. Nobody did a lot of talking, but me.
"I was unhappy with our concentration. But they played hard and showed great effort. Our effort all year has been tremendous. Tonight we brought great effort. But in the second half, we put together 20 minutes of concentrated effort."
