Hi Lobo Fans!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. This past week for the Lobos was a LOT of FUN!!

Last week during practice everyone came out ready to play. We played hard and pushed through to make every day a good day. Then came San Diego State on Thursday night. It was Jam Johnson Night, so we had a lot of fans come out and support us. The match was a lot of fun, we did well and kept everyone focused and in the match. We played every point well and won the match, 3-0. We were all excited for the win and wanted to keep it going. We celebrated until practice on Friday when we moved our focus to Air Force.

We practiced hard and finished the week of practice on a good note. Then it was GAME DAY!!! We got up, had breakfast as a team, and headed over to Johnson Center to start our locker room talk. We danced around, got ready for the match, had our coaches talk, and it was game time.

We played very well against Air Force and won, 3-0. We were able to celebrate the rest of the day. We even got the opportunity to go out and support our Lobo women's soccer team for their Think Pink game. So we all wore pink!

After the women's soccer game, which they won 1-0 over TCU, some of us headed out to watch the first Balloon Glow of the week at the International Balloon Fiesta. Balloon Fiesta is an annual event in Albuquerque every October. The rest hung out with family members who were in town for the weekend.

Now it is time to focus on BYU and Utah. We've had a good week of practice and are excited to go play them. We play BYU Thursday night (it's a tv match - BYU-TV at 7 p.m.) and Utah on Saturday afternoon. We'll be coming home Saturday night and ready for another great week of Lobo Volleyball.

Thanks to all of you for your support. Have a great week and God bless.
