Skiers to be Featured on CBS Sports

The University of New Mexico Ski Team will be featured on CBS Sports' 2004 NCAA Winter Sports Championships highlight show on Sunday, April 18, at 11:00 a.m. (M.D.T.). The show recaps all of the NCAA champions from this past winter's competition.

The Lobo Ski Team won the 2004 NCAA Championship on March 13 in Truckee, Calif., bringing home the first ever NCAA Championship in any sport to the University of New Mexico. Locally, the NCAA Winter Sports Championships Highlights will air on KRQE Channel 13, however the show will also air nationally on all CBS stations at 11:00 a.m. (M.D.T.).

The Lobos will also be honored on Sunday afternoon at Isotopes Park. Head coach George Brooks is scheduled to throw out the first pitch before the Isotopes game against Memphis at 1:35 p.m. (M.D.T.).
