UNM Head Coach Rocky Long

(On the play of the offensive /DonTrell Moore): "I thought having (senior OL) Justin (Coulburn) out would have line hurt our performance, but obviously it didn't and I thought in the last two years, that's the best DonTrell's run with the football. Not only was he finding holes, but he was also running hard and breaking tackles. I thought the combination of the offensive line blocking very well and DonTrell running better that he has been, they had a great night on offense."

(On getting the first win over CSU in MWC play): "It's a great victory for our team. We are a football team that keeps hearing that we can't do things, but somehow we do things nobody expects us to do. That was just a bunch of guys hanging in there even though things looked terrible. At the end we couldn't protect the lead and their quarterback was making great plays, especially on fourth down. This win was a great win, but it was no more important than beating San Diego State or Utah, and it's not going to be any more important than when we playing Air Force next week."

(On CSU QB Bradlee Van Pelt): "He is a great football player. There's not many quarterbacks in the country that can handle the pressure we put on him. He must have been hit about 50 times and kept making plays. He's probably the best running quarterback in the country."

CSU Head Coach Sonny Lubick

"I am proud of our football team. I think they did a hell of a job. I think they showed what they are made of. To be honest, I told them that I was as proud of them as I've been all year. I am proud of the way we fought back. All we had to do was make two or three first downs and it would have been us trying the field goal instead of them."

(On DonTrell Moore): "He ran the ball real well. Midway through the third quarter, I think we started playing pretty good on defense. We gave up a couple of big plays again, but that's what we've been doing all year long for some reason. Our biggest mistake was that we were in the hole and we weren't tackling the guy. He'd bounce off us and a three-yard gain turns into a 12-yard gain."

New Mexico Junior K Wes Zunker

(On his game-winning kick): "Well, it never should have gotten that far, but the whole time I was thinking, 'This is going to be a close one,' and I knew it could come down to me. I just tried to stay warm and stay ready throughout the whole game. We got a lucky break at the end of the game and from then on I tried to stay to myself and get my mind right, just try to relax. I'd hit two already so why not three? I just tried to stay relaxed and tried not to think about the situation until afterwards. "

New Mexico Junior NT Kyle Coulter

(On his fumble recovery late in the game): "I knew they had to throw it down the field and work their way down there. It was going to be a pass. I had my assignment and I was able to get penetration and work myself through there. I happened to be at the right place at the right time."

(On facing CSU QB Bradlee Van Pelt): "He's a heckuva player. He's a great competitor and a great athlete. We knew we had our work cut out for us and thankfully we were able to make enough plays."

New Mexico Sophomore RB DonTrell Moore

(On his performance): "It was unbelievable. It was like I was on fire. Sometimes you get in a zone. Those offensive linemen are unbelievable. They work hard every single day and they don't get the credit they deserve, but from the running backs they do. The game ball goes to them by far. On several occasions, I only had to make one guy miss because they were blocking ten guys."
