Last Dual Match for New Mexico:
The Lobos come home 1-1 for the weekend after falling to Northwestern University with a score of 6-1 and defeating DePaul with a score of 4-3. In the Northwestern match, Conor Berg was the only Lobo to win in singles after defeating Alex Pasareanu with a score of 6-2, 6-3. He is the current leader in dual match singles with an overall record of 8-1. Ben Dunbar went to three sets at number two singles against DePaul clinching the win for the Lobos. He now has an overall record of 4-4 in dual match singles.
University of Denver: Denver is now 3-6 with one more match to be played before facing off against UNM. Denver finished playing against the University of Arizona coming back to Denver with a 6-1 win. The only point that Denver lost was in doubles after only Enej Bonin and Jens Vorkefeld beat Sumeet Shinde/Kieren Thompson with a score of 8-4.
Next Up: The Lobos will travel to Corpus Christi, Texas to participate in the HEB Invitational on March 2-3, 2012.
