ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The New Mexico men's and women's soccer teams recently provided four free clinics to members of local leagues and clubs. The clinics provided area members of the U9-U14 a chance to play and interact with UNM soccer athletes. The clinics were held at the Robertson Training Facility.
The spring dates included small sided games where local kids competed with current Lobos. The games were used to develop overall skills and promote the game of soccer within the community of Albuquerque. The clinics helped share the passion and enthusiasm for the game of soccer.
The Lobos welcomed youth players from the Rio Vista Football Club, New Mexico Rush, the Duke City Soccer League and the Northwest Rio Grande League.
