Alabama Crimson Classic Rained Out Sunday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- The final two games of the Hampton Inn Crimson Classic have been called due to rain. New Mexico and Middle Tennessee were scheduled to meet in the consolation game at 11 a.m. with Alabama and Georgia Tech to play in the championship game at 1:30 p.m. The Lobos are now 4-3 overall this season and went 2-2 during the tournament with victories over Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee State.

UNM hosts the Lobo Invitational this weekend at the newly renovated Lobo Field. The Lobos welcome nationally-ranked Washington and Missouri to town along with Texas Tech and Wichita State. The tournament consists of five games Friday and Saturday and two Sunday. UNM plays at 3 p.m. Friday against Wichita State and at 8 p.m. that evening against Texas Tech.
