ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The New Mexico volleyball team's annual "Cherry & Silver" scrimmage will take place this Saturday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. in the South Gym of the Johnson Center. The scrimmage, which was orginally set for 7 p.m., was rescheduled because it conflicted with the "Howl of a Good Time" auction.
The scrimmage will be the first chance Lobo fans have to meet the 2003 team.
"This is a great opportunity to step on the court and get some competition," said second-year head coach Kelley Sliva McKee. "The fans can see the team in action, and it's a celebration for us because it marks the end of the preseason."
The Lobos kick off the 2003 season at the Fresno State Invitational Aug. 29-30.
