ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Lobo women's basketball team will closeout their road portion of the Mountain West Conference Thursday night at UNLV. New Mexico is 20-7 on the year and 10-4 in the MWC, while UNLV is 16-9 overall and 8-6 in the conference. Tip-off from the Thomas and Mack Center is schedule for Thursday at 8:00 p.m. (MST) and all the action can be heard on KNML 610 AM.

TONIGHT'S GAME: Tonight's game features the No. 19/21 Lobos of the University of New Mexico as they travel to Las Vegas, Nev., to play the Lady Rebels of UNLV in their final MWC road game.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS: UNM is 20-4 on the season and 9-4 in conference with wins over Oral Roberts in the first round of the preseason WNIT, Cal in the second round, at No. 12 Texas, Marist, Oklahoma State, No. 10 Minnesota, Louisiana Monroe, North Dakota State, No. 22 Utah, Wyoming, UNLV, TCU and home and away against New Mexico State, Colorado State, Air Force and San Diego State, with losses to Oklahoma twice, at No. 12 Arizona State, at TCU, at BYU, at Utah and at Wyoming. New Mexico is led in scoring by sophomore Dionne Marsh at 15.5 ppg. Senior Abbie Letz leads the team in rebounding at 7.5 rpg., while junior Katie Montgomery leads UNM in assists at 3.5 apg.

SCOUTING THE LADY REBELS: UNLV is currently 16-9 overall and 8-6 in the MWC. The Lady Rebels have wins over Alabama State, Stephen F. Austin, Tennessee Tech, Albany, Nevada, Jackson State, Troy, Lamar, Wyoming, TCU and home and away against Colorado State, Air Force and San Diego State, with losses at DePaul, at Cal, Texas A&M, at New Mexico, at Wyoming and home and away to BYU and Utah. Leading UNLV in scoring and assists is Sheena Moore at 13.0 ppg. and 3.0 apg. Sherry McCracklin leads the Lady Rebels in rebounding at 6.6 rpg.

THE COACHES: UNM is led by head coach Don Flanagan who in his 11th season at New Mexico. Flanagan is 237-101 at UNM. UNLV is under the direction of Regina Miller who is in her eighth season at UNLV and 14th season overall. Miller is 151-85 at the helm of the Lady Rebels and 211-182 overall.
